Calvin Klein Asks Fans to Snap Selfies in Their Skivvies for #MyCalvins Selfies

YO!!! where all those sexy ladies and cute guys who loves selfie? ngwa.. Calvin Klein is here to help you shine, okay lets see whats up here >>>

Calvin Klein is handing over the marketing reins to its fans for its latest line of designer underwear. The #mycalvins campaign is so hip, in fact, that it's encouraging bloggers, models, musicians and average fashionistas to snap selfies of themselves wearing the iconic waist-banded knickers and share them on social media.
The digital initiative kicked-off with supermodel Miranda Kerr and R&B artist Trey Songz, who both posted photos of themselves stripped down and showing off their branded waist-bands. The second wave of brand ambassadors includes popular bloggers Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad and Leandra Medine of the Man Repeller.
The company reports that the first of the three influencer photos had more than 1 million total fan interactions among an audience of over 50 million in less than 24 hours. WOW!

“Instead of asking the audience to follow the brand, they're allowing the fans to create the #mycalvins movement, therefore making it feel more organic and less promotional,” Megan Wintersteen, lead for social at digital agency Huge, told Marketing Daily. Even smarter, all it takes is a pair of Calvins and a smartphone to play, “which drives purchase intent for new customers and incentivizes loyal customers to check out the latest style.”
Giving fans “permission to submit photos of themselves in their underwear is basically the world's best excuse to pose half-naked on Instagram without seeming self-serving,” added Wintersteen, and it's “not a trend I see disappearing any time soon.”
Calvin Klein underwear helped launch the careers of many celebrities in the 80s and 90s including Christy Turlington, Kate Moss, Mark Wahlberg, Zoe Saldana and Kellan Lutz, and the present campaign riffs on that nostalgia with the value add of today’s smart tech.
"We thought it would be groundbreaking to actually start a campaign with influencers posting images before we even posted images," said Malcolm Carfrae, Calvin Klein EVP and chief communications officer.
Groundbreaking—and jaw-dropping—indeed

This is just too cool, and am about to take my own #MyCalvin now! :D what are you waiting for? just take the selfie sharply, and tag it up #MyCalvin on Instagram asap!
