Alessandro Michele Confirmed At Gucci

It is the news that we have been waiting for - even if we might have already guessed: Gucci has confirmed that its head accessories designer, Alessandro Michele, is its new creative director.

Following the announcement that former helmer Frida Giannini was stepping down names of prospective replacements abounded around the industry (with even Tom Ford being brought into the mix). But after her abrupt departure one month early; the news this week that the autumn/winter 2015 menswear collection had been completely redesigned under Michele's leadership; and the very poignant fact that it was he who took a bow at the end of Monday's show, Gucci's new direction appeared to be a done deal.

"Gucci is one of the leading contemporary fashion brands and whatever they do is both interesting and influential in both ready to wear and accessories," said Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman. "I am excited to see what Alessandro brings to the company in his new role."

Michele has been at the label since 2002 and worked closely with Giannini during her tenure. His first women’s wear offering for the brand - which, presumably, will also be entirely changed - will be unveiled during Milan Fashion Week next month, with all eyes on the new graduate from the Gucci ranks.

The Party Talk With "Jamie Teddy"

Hi guys! :D, how are y'all doing? I'm sure you guys are chilling tho. Lol, cause I'm so excited this morning, my city is cool and calm, the wind and the temperature is just relaxed ufff!.. I'm about to go get stacks of "Okpa" and a chilled bottle of "Coke" you'll never know shaa :-p

Anyway, I just woke up and on the natural graceful bliss I felt like throwing a party or pool picnic sort of, coz' I've been intimidated a lot with the way my friends hangs out and I don't usually roll'in with them, I keep wondering when I would give it a try.. It got me to the point I had to meet one of the coolest guy in my city "Jamie Teddy" cause I really got to know if it is really that fun, you know.. Cause I admire the hustle that abides in having fun. So here is what he had to tell me about it.. :D

First of all I know its fun to throw a party, but do you think its necessary for every youth?

"Yes it is, it's a certain stage of life we all have to pass through"

Aha! This same stage everybody gets messed up and addicted, so what do you think of the other guys that got addicted to it? I mean e nor look discouraging shey?

"It all depends on the youth, not everyone. Get addicted to a certain stuff"

"Hahah! Well too much of everything is bad like they talk, so don't over do things, know when its getting extremely much and stay focused"

Damn! I was gonna say its the ladies tho, :(O).. Tell me and everybody, what are the effects of partying? I mean.. What could go wrong about partying?

"U could possibly get high and do some unwanted sh*ts but that's why u have to learn how to control yourself u know.. Lol partying could make u think less of life and think everything is alright. Even when stuffs dey go wrong"

Hmm, I get it now.. Mtcheew! But dude, looking back to your times ehn? Tell me your achievements..

"Hehe, I achieved a lot can't disclose them.. *smiles* I have achieved a lot so far"

Hmm, well.. I think I'll disclose them myself with guessing :D, so you gotta tell me really atleast one of your achievements.

Ugh.. I guess you're one of the lucky guys! Coz' I know some of these teens who got stucked up in partying and mostly living a bad life!.

"Err.. The truth be say I had no regrets so far cos it was all fun and I made a whole lot of money with it shaa and you know the other stuffs heheh!"

Hmm, I'm not going to lie bro.. I'm not really accepting "no regrets" talk coz definitely there should be anyway.

                                University Of California- Santa Barbara

It is a famous public university in California.. They really do know how to have fun. They buy so much beer for their parties and everyone gets drunk and just wants to have fun. Santa Barbara University is one of the best universities in California. Would you like to study there and to participate in their parties? Well of course I would loved to! These white kids really know how to get their hands and feet dirty shaa..

There are almost 30,000 students in the University of Iowa. Even though there are many smart students in this university they know how to have fun and don’t care what others think. So this awesome singer Omawumi finally tied the knot as she just got married to her baby daddy Tosin Yusuf today January 16th at the Ikoyi Registry in Lagos, awww ;;) this is so sweet, you know, i hope i marry a pretty singer as her.. she would always sing for me before i sleep :D *sigh.. anyway the couple got engaged last year after dating for years. They also have a 4 year old beautiful daughter :-* , well i don't know her name yet x_x is Omawumi pregnant for their second child?. I don't know tho. Big congrats to them!!

Chris Brown's probation revoked again. Now they want him locked up

Chris Brown was at a nightclub over the weekend where there was a shooting incident that left 5 people injured. For that they've revoked his probation and probation department wants him locked up.

Chris Brown has had his probation revoked in the Rihanna case, in part because he was present at 2 separate nightclubs when people inside were shot, and officials are worried about more shootings and think Chris should serve time behind bars.

Chris showed up for a progress report Thursday, when the judge told him the probation report presented multiple problems. First, the report mentions the shooting last Sunday in San Jose when Chris was on stage. Five people were injured.  The judge also said the probation report expressed concern over another shooting at 1OAK during VMA weekend last August. Again, Chris was on stage and several people were shot, including Suge Knight.

And the judge said Chris left the county for San Jose without getting the court's permission, which is a violation of his probation.

As for why the shootings are an issue, they were raised in the probation report. The judge noted so far there's no evidence Chris was criminally involved, but the probation officer says, "There is also concern that when he performs or attends at some of his public events, people will get shot or seriously injured."

The probation officer also notes Chris has been arrested twice while on probation -- once for assault in DC and also for throwing a rock at his mom's car in rehab. And the officer notes Chris was "making comments about knives and guns during a group [rehab] meeting."

The probation officer -- who thinks Chris is focusing too much on his career rather than community service and rehabilitation -- recommends to the judge that Chris serve time. The officer says the singer has shown "a pattern of making choices that are counterproductive."

The judge will hold a formal hearing March 20. If hizzoner determines Chris "willfully" violated probation, he could be in big trouble. The violations are felonies, which means prison is on the line.
